Tipping culture in UK salons — should we actively enable it?

american clients sometimes tip 20-25%. uk clients rarely tip at all. never quite know whether to put a tip option on the card reader or if that creates awkwardness. what do salon owners think about uk tipping culture — worth actively enabling or leave it to clients to offer if they want?
