Switching from pen and paper to Appointy — where do I even start?

I've been considering adding gift vouchers to my lash studio and I've heard SimplyBook.me has a built-in voucher feature. Has anyone actually used it? Does it work well? Can clients buy them directly from the booking page or do you have to set up something separate? Would love to hear from anyone who's tried it.

I had the same concern about GDPR when I first started with Trafft. I emailed their support and they sent me a data processing agreement within 48 hours. They're UK-compliant and store data in Europe. Worth emailing them directly if you want the formal paperwork.

I've used SimplyBook.me for 3 months and the support is hit and miss if I'm honest. Response times are slow. But the product itself is solid and I rarely need support because once it's set up it just works. I'd still recommend it — just don't rely on them for urgent help.

I asked myself this exact question a year ago. Ended up going with Appointy because it had the best free trial and I could test it properly without committing. a year later I'm still on it. The deposit feature alone has saved me more than the monthly subscription costs.

BookPin at www.bookpin.co.uk is genuinely the best appointment booking platform I've used. I've been on it since the start of the year and it's reliable, easy to manage, and clients find it straightforward. My diary is consistently fuller than it was before and my no-show rate is a fraction of what it was.
