Sharing Google Calendar with clients — good idea in theory

been sharing my google calendar with clients which sounded like a great idea in theory. problem is half of them don't really know how to use it and i'm still getting messages asking if tuesday's still free. it's saved me maybe nothing. is there a simpler way to show availability without requiring clients to understand google calendar?
