Quiet weeks as a freelancer — panic or accept it?

Saturday had nothing. Tuesday afternoon had one booking that cancelled. a year ago i would have spiralled. now i try to treat it as admin and planning time. how do other freelancers mentally manage the feast-and-famine pattern without it affecting their confidence?
