Paper diary vs digital — the coordination nightmare when you have both

we still have two practitioners who insist on paper diaries. the coordination between their paper and our digital system is honestly a constant mess. had an actual double booking last week with two patients in the waiting room at the same time. not a good afternoon. has anyone successfully transitioned a reluctant practitioner from paper to digital without it becoming a whole thing?
