Non-refundable vs refundable deposit — which do clients actually prefer?
running non-refundable deposits since i introduced the policy. had a client recently suggest that a refundable deposit with two days notice would feel fairer. wondering if the non-refundable approach quietly loses goodwill even when it's clearly stated upfront at booking.
