Business Growth ❓ Question

Has anyone actually used Acuity Scheduling for their spa in Leicester?

Quick question for anyone using Fresha — does the Instagram integration actually work properly? I see a lot of salons with a 'Book Now' button on their profile and I've been told Fresha can set this up. I tried following the instructions but it's still showing an error. Is it a known bug or am I doing something wrong? Running a aesthetics clinic in Cardiff if that makes any difference.

For a mobile barbershop I'd go with Square Appointments every time. You can set a service area rather than a fixed address, clients can see your availability, and the automated confirmations include all the details they need. Works perfectly without needing a physical premises.

I tested Appointy and Acuity Scheduling side by side for a month. Appointy won on price, Acuity Scheduling won on features. For a solo nail studio just starting out, Appointy's free plan is hard to argue with. You can always switch later once you know exactly what you need.

Honestly? Just go with Trafft. I know there are loads of options but for a solo spa in the UK it covers everything you actually need — online booking, SMS reminders, deposits, basic reporting. Don't overthink it. Half the features on the premium plans you'll never use.
