Double bookings when phone and online happen simultaneously — systems don't sync fast enough

double bookings are a real issue and they happen more often than any salon would want to admit publicly. usually because someone's booking online at the exact same moment we're taking a call and the system doesn't sync fast enough. we've ended up with two clients in the waiting room at the same time. anyone found a system where this genuinely doesn't happen?
