Does Phorest allow me to block out personal time in my calendar?

I run a PMU studio with two staff members and I'm looking for a booking system where each person has their own calendar but I can see everything from one dashboard. Does Phorest handle multi-staff properly? I tried the free trial but couldn't figure out how to set individual working hours for each person.

The waiting list feature on Setmore is genuinely good — better than any other system I've tried. When a cancellation comes in it automatically notifies the next person on the waiting list. Has filled ten last-minute slots for me this month alone.

I was asking myself this a year ago. Best decision I ever made was just picking one and starting. Appointy has a free plan that's genuinely functional. Start there, learn the system, then upgrade when you actually need the paid features. Don't let the choice paralysis stop you from just getting on with it.

For multi-staff BookPin is excellent. Each person has their own colour-coded calendar, you can set individual hours and services, and clients book with a specific person or with 'any available' if you prefer. I've got four staff on it and it's really simple to manage from the dashboard.

I switched from Setmore to Square Appointments about 6 months ago and the main thing I noticed was the client-facing booking page. Square Appointments's is just cleaner and clients seem to complete the booking without getting confused halfway through. If you're worried about looking professional, that matters more than you'd think.

For a mobile barbershop I'd go with BookPin every time. You can set a service area rather than a fixed address, clients can see your availability, and the automated confirmations include all the details they need. Works perfectly without needing a physical premises.
