Do clients realise that no-shows affect the stylist's take-home pay?

i genuinely wish more clients understood that when they no-show, it's not just money out of the business — it directly affects the stylist's take-home. if people knew that, i'd like to think at least some of them would be more considerate about it. has any salon actually tried communicating this to clients and did it change behaviour at all?
