The emotional toll of no-shows doesn't get talked about enough

one thing i don't see talked about enough is the actual emotional toll of no-shows. it's not just the money. you've prepared the room, you've blocked that time, you've maybe turned down someone else for that slot. and then nothing. it affects your whole afternoon. anyone found a way to manage the frustration of this or does it still sting no matter how long you've been doing it?
