Processing fees eat into small deposits — the maths gets awkward

taking £20 deposits via card. after processing fees i'm keeping significantly less. at lower deposit amounts the fee becomes a meaningful percentage. anyone found a way to handle deposits that minimises fees without asking clients to do bank transfers?
